This Architectural Drawing is back elevation of a residential building. The term elevation may be used to identify the height of a building structure or land. Common terminology of elevation is referred to as Average Mean Sea Level in this context. Elevations depict how your home will look when viewed from specific angles. There are different types of elevation with respect to these specific angles. Front elevation, side elevations, rear elevations and split elevations are some types. Exterior elevations are as-built drawings that show the exterior sides of the building, from ground level up to the top of the structure. Together with the Floor Plan and Roof Plan, the Exterior Elevations round out the typical set of As-Builts that most of our architecture clients ask for on their projects.
