These raise the temperature of the air to meet the demands of the room thermostats which are individually set. reheating is to increase the quality of the steam at the turbine exit, not to increase the efficiency. The plenum fan may also reduce the space required in the mechanical room for the air-handling unit and the discharge duct work.
